February Comic Discussion/Speculation - 2010 edition

Remember when your parents told you your dog got sent to a farm? This is that farm, except it's full of old monthly discussion threads.

we live to speculate, no new material on the weekend so we have to improvise.

also it would be more of a air blast that would break his fall much like that pillow thing firemen use so it would take less time (because it would be a sudden hit and not a constant slow down) and all that would be needed is a air cannon...mmm no maybe a bunch of smaller ones built into the side that launch at the same time to have the same effect.

A blast from an air cannon would probably be a whole lot simpler, and then they could scoot him across the deck like a puck on an air hockey board. . . .

Air hockey was my first thought when Brogus mentioned a cushion of multiple small jets...

I would like this answered too. The only show I can think of is Deadliest Warrior, but I know that's not it for two reasons.

1) It wasn't on discovery channel, but Spike instead.

2) It didn't have Pirates vs Ninjas, it had Pirates vs Knights (pirate won) and Ninjas vs Spartans (Ninja, sadly, got his ass kicked)

I'm guessing it's Mythbusters, since they had that ninja character that showed up, but I wouldn't know if they talked about ninjas vs. pirates. I did see a clip where they were asked about ninjas during a convention, and the one guy emphatically answered that ninjas do not exist.

It was also a head to head fight in broad daylight. Ninja was at a serious disadvantage.
